Michael Harris

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

(he, him) Michael Harris is the founder and CEO of Restore My Civil Rights, an Arizona-based organization dedicated to helping individuals overcome the lasting consequences of criminal convictions through the restoration of civil rights, firearm rights, and other forms of post-conviction relief. Michael brings a unique perspective to leadership and criminal justice reform, having personally experienced the challenges of incarceration, addiction, recovery, and rebuilding a life after felony convictions. His journey from incarceration to successful entrepreneurship has shaped his belief that people should be defined not solely by their past mistakes, but by the choices they make and the lives they build moving forward. A dedicated advocate for second chances, Michael works to remove barriers that prevent rehabilitated individuals from fully participating in society. He is also active in Freemasonry, having served as Worshipful Master of Oriental Lodge No. 20 in Mesa, Arizona. Michael seeks to effectively influence the Arizona State Legislature to advance meaningful criminal justice reform, with the ultimate goal of expanding those efforts to legislatures across the United States.
