AFSCME International, Political Action Apprentice
I was born and raised in Arizona. I attended Arizona State University as a National Merit Scholar, where I graduated in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. In 2020 I returned to ASU and completed my master's degree in Political Psychology. I was hired by AFSCME International's Political Action Department in October 2023, which led me to relocate to Tucson, Arizona, where I work on coordinated campaigns, advocate on behalf of AFSCME members during the Arizona legislative session, and participate in coalitions to advance worker's rights in Arizona, including a coalition that pushed for the first heat safety ordinances in southern Arizona, and was passed this summer. I also am serving as a deputy zone lead for the AFL-CIO's 2024 political program in southern Arizona, working on member-to-member campaigns.
